What's that I hear you say? 'Go on Dave, get your watercolours out and colour in that picture you drew yesterday!'? Oh, ok, then...
With a few minutes to spare this morning I bought a pad and pen, stood in the sun and drew some folk passing.

Trying something a bit new here > drywipe felt tips on whiteboard > keep to a few colours > stealthily rub away some of the marks (a la lino-cut effect) > take photo > tweak in photoshop > make negative > creates naive look with a particular energy > easy peasy (hmm) > more to follow.

More Chocolate. This one on a tiny little canvas and posted on V's Day. Part of my exhibition of chocolate hanging at The Chocolate Tree, Bruntsfield, Edinburgh.

Editorial artwork for Edinburgh's The Leither magazine (accompanying the genius off-the-wall writings of Colin Montgomery)

I'm Drawing and Painting Chocolate

I sat in Edinburghs' The Chocolate Tree and realised how beautiful chocolate can look, made by the right hands. I began sketching and now the lovely folk there are letting me have an exhibition there, to show off some of these drawings and paintings.

One for the designers.

Leaves abstract on wood.

Acrilycs, inks & pencil on wood. Bit of an experiment this. I quite like it, enjoyed making it, and under a nom de plume it exhibited in Edinburgh.

Tidy your desk Dave!
